Evan T. Sussman

Since 1994, Evan T. Sussman has been committed to providing the highest quality representation to high net worth individuals who have decided to marry or are involved in any aspect of separation, divorce or child custody matter.

Mr. Sussman is a Certified Family Law Specialist, as recognized by the State Bar of California.

Mr. Sussman has assumed a wide array of leadership roles within the legal community. He is currently:
• Chair of the Family Law Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association; and
• Member, Executive Committee, Family Law Section, Los Angeles County Bar Association.

Mr. Sussman writes extensively about family law issues. He was the Editor of the Family Law News and Review. His publications include The Current State of Marital Nullities as they Compare to Marital Dissolutions, 27 Family Law News, No. 4 (2005) (with Harold J. Cohn).

Mr. Sussman also speaks and helps train other lawyers. His recent presentations include:
• Community Property Settlement Strategies For the California Practitioner, National Business Institute, August, 2008;
• Preparation, Prosecution and Defense of the Typical Order to Show Cause, Family Law Section, Los Angeles County Bar Association, March, 2008;

Mr. Sussman is a cum laude graduate of the University of Southern California and graduated with distinction from the McGeorge School of Law.
