Ellen M. Johnson

Ellen Johnson’s primary responsibilities involve handling family law disputes.  She has represented husbands and wives in lawsuits throughout  Southern California.  In the last year, she has appeared in Los Angeles County Courts, in Downtown Los Angeles, San Fernando, Van Nuys, as well as in Riverside County Court.
 
Ms. Johnson’s almost exclusively focuses on litigating a wide array of divorce cases, including establishing and modifying child custody, spousal support, and child custody orders.
 
Ms. Johnson previously worked for a law firm that defended The County of Los Angeles in civil lawsuits. This included slip and falls that took place on county property, medical malpractice actions, and a variety of law suits filed  against the Sheriff's Department (traffic accidents, allegations of excessive force and other civil rights violations).  
 
Ms. Johnson received her law degree from Southwestern University School of Law, where she completed a judicial externship in the chambers of The Honorable Joseph O. Reichman (ret.), Magistrate, United States District Court for the Central District of California and is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of UCLA, where she earned a B.A. in Music Performance.
